The End of CoOp

We have decided that Concurring Opinions will come to a close at the end of the month. There will be some final farewell posts, but starting on January 1 the site will be dormant while we figure out how best to save our old posts.

I want to thank my co-bloggers and our readers. I will still blog from time to time at Balkinization, and who knows what else the future may hold.

Thanks for the always-interesting posts! I, for one, would be interested in continuing to read about your work, so please make an announcement if you’ll be posting elsewhere in addition to Balkinization.

I can’t remember the last time I commented here, but I remember well sparring with Dan Solove and Dave Hoffman a decade ago. I thank every prawf who has ever contributed for your efforts and for making me think.

    I will miss CoOp.

I’ll miss it. Not shocked, there were some hints in the air, but I’ll still miss the site. It’s been interesting.

I look forward to continue reading your posts at Balkinization.

Sorry to see you go. Prof M, you were doing yeoman’s work for quite a while.

“Saving posts” — once you’ve achieved final state, submit the top URL to Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine (ARCHIVE.ORG) for backup.

As a once upon a time guest blogger, I’m sorry to see the place shut down, but I certainly understand, and not just because law school blogging seems to have become moribund pretty much all around. It’s hard to keep such things going after a while. But, it was a good run, I was glad to be a very small part of it, and best wishes to everyone else!
