Reintroducing Guest Blogger Kyle Graham

I am pleased to welcome Professor Kyle Graham of Santa Clara Law School for a return visit this month.  Professor Graham received his B.A. from Stanford in 1996 and his J.D. from Yale in 2001.  He then clerked for Judge William Alsup on the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, was an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, a staff attorney for Justice Carlos Moreno on the California Supreme Court, and a deputy district attorney in Mono County.  Kyle has his own blog at, which you should definitely check out.

This month Kyle was going to debate an empty chair, but, alas, Clint Eastwood preempted him.

Kyle: do you have some interesting stories re: your stint in Mono County, CA? I have a summer cabin in the Mammoth Lakes, CA area, which has been in my family for some 50 years — so I am somewhat familiar with Mono County. There seems to be something on LA Dep’t of Water & Power, etc. vs. Citizens for Mono Lake, Mammoth Lakes Water, etc., etc. on the local radio each summer — even some cattle or horse stealings, marijuana farm busts on forestry land, bear killings (that forestry did not approve, a city cannot approve, etc.). Thanks.
